The Season finale of Watson on CBS will fall into two episodes. When part of the team falls ill after becoming targets of a sinister plot, it becomes an all-hands-on-deck. Meanwhile, Watson announces a new ambitious project that he has been working on. “My Life’s Work Part 1”(airing May 4, 9pm) and “My Life’s Work Part 2” (airing May 11, 9pm) will complete the debut season. The cast includes Morris Chestnut (Dr. Watson), Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kindall, Inga Schlingmann, Richie Coster and Rochelle Aytes, with Randall Park guest starring as the villainous Professor James Moriarty.

Tubi (www.tubi.tv), Fox Corporation’s ad-supported video-on-demand service, today announced it has acquired as a Tubi Original Film, the Asian American ensemble romantic comedy “Worth The Wait.” This multigenerational rom-com highlights the lives of a group of strangers as they explore relationships, joy, life-changing experiences, love, family and loss. Stars Lana Condor, Andrew Koji, Ross Butler, Sung Kang and Elodie Yung. Completing the cast are Karena Lam, Osric Chau, Ali Fumiko Whitney, Ricky He, Kheng Hua Tanand Yu-Beng Lim. Multiple Award-Winning Tom Shu-Yu Lin directs the film. (Streaming date TBA)

Nature's 43rd season concludes with Hummingbirds of Hollywood on Wednesday, May 7 (8pm) on PBS. Terry Masear is a retired UCLA professor who rescues the hummingbirds that descend on Los Angeles every spring in a seasonal frenzy of breeding. Wounded hummingbirds find their way to Masear as her mobile hotline rings off the hook from callers who find them and require her expertise. Witness a visually captivating tale of love, fragility, healing, and the delicate beauty in profound acts of kindness.

Andscape, the Black content studio from Disney & ESPN, today announced the new film, “The Quincy Avery Effect,” premiering on Hulu (Apr 23). The documentary was directed by Bryant Robinson, executive produced by Jason Reid, Quincy Avery and Z. Oluwabankole Levine, and was produced by Andscape and Religion of Sports. The film reveals untold story of one man’s journey from homelessness to transforming the NFL quarterback landscape. Quincy Avery, now one of the league’s most successful coaches, overcame 1,000 nights without a home to guide some of football’s brightest stars. The film highlights the remarkable rise of Black quarterbacks in the NFL, breaking through decades of barriers. For too long, Black athletes were told they couldn’t excel in the sport’s most coveted position. Through Quincy’s mentorship, athletes like Jalen Hurts, Justin Fields, CJ Stroud, and Jordan Love have shattered those limits and paved the way for future generations. These quarterbacks open up about the personal and political hurdles they faced on their path to greatness. They share how Quincy helped them overcome doubts, build confidence, and unlock their full potential on and off the field.
